In 2010 I was one of the founder members of All The Pigs, creating and developing writing workshops, through our ‘First Time Writers Initiative’, successfully finding new writers and supporting their work and development through to performance.

The purpose of our First Time Writers Initiative is to supply the tools and knowledge to give writers the confidence to write! Through our own findings and experience, we have found our approach to gain these skills, which we pass on to all our writers.

From the beginning, the First Time Writers Initiative was set up by the All The Pigs to select individuals who have never had a play professionally produced before. We takes them on a 16-week course of workshops, readings and rehearsals, eventually creating a 30-minute play, and pairing them up with an up-and-coming director.
